The kitchen is the heart of every home. Unfortunately, it’s also the most dangerous room in the house. This lesson will introduce students to the principles of food and kitchen safety. Key concepts introduced in this lesson are: kitchen safety guidelines; preventing falls, cuts, burns and electrical hazards; handling food safely and the temperature danger zone.
